Nowadays almost all existent complicated technical systems, including computers and telecommunication, even those, that are named “personal” or “mobile”, aren’t personalized. Most systems can be easily turned on even without identification, not speaking about user authentication, and it allows getting access to any data in the system.
For providing of personalization which is the main safety factor of the complicated technical systems, it is necessary to solve problems, related to providing of users authentication, confidentiality and authenticity of system data, possibility of regular access to them, and also impossibility of use of this data by criminals.
Almost all existent mechanisms of authentication use some identifier (secret parameter) which characterizes authenticity and authority of authentication subject.
Lately in ІТ-industry and also in building of houses and industrial-commercial building more and more attention are dedicated to the problem of access control.
The institute of the technical systems personalization and information defence was created on the basis of Timing Computer Systems Centre of V.M. Gluskov Institute Cybernetics of National Academy of Science of Ukraine and with support of the Open international university of human development “Ukraine”.
Institute will be executing research in such scientific subjects:
- Development of conceptual basis, methods, algorithms, programs and complexes of computer systems personalization with the key-identifier use.
- Creation of hardware/software personalization tools of mobile computer systems, including telecommunications.
- Development of methods, algorithms and programs that support technologies of information security and personalization.
The personalization technologies, offered by us, allow deciding not only the problem of unauthorized access, but also personalization problem of computer technique, photo and video technique, automobiles and motorcycles.
Personalization technology is based on seemingly simple, but reliable in exploitation Bardachenko key-identifier (authenticator). Key-identifier features are represented in a section «Key-identifier» in detail.
It is important to notice that technical decisions built on the basis of personalization technologies, are under the patents protection in Ukraine, Russia, China, the USA, Germany, Canada etc.
